How to read this
Sentinel runs two methods over the same companies, and they are independent of each other. On this snapshot their rank correlation is -0.07, meaning they almost never agree. So we do not blend them into one number. We show both, and we treat agreement as the signal.
- Critical — both methods independently rank the company in the top 10 percent. Eleven companies. Rare, and the reason it matters.
- High — one method ranks it in the top 1 percent, the other does not agree.
- Medium — one method ranks it in the top 10 percent.
- Low — neither method flags it.
A tier is a ranking within this universe on this date. It is not a probability, and not a claim that any company has done anything wrong. Statistical and disclosure divergences warrant review, not conclusions.
You supply the news. We do not provide feeds. The model reads both headline and body, which is what resolves ambiguous events.
1 free company lookup per visitor per day, and 3 free analyses per visitor per day. Only a request that returns a result counts, so a company we do not hold, or a headline the model cannot resolve, costs you nothing. Rate limiting uses a truncated one-way hash of your IP address combined with a session token your browser generates for this visit. It expires after 24 hours and is then deleted. Your IP address itself is never written to disk. No device fingerprinting, no cookies, no account. We could stop abuse more effectively by fingerprinting your device, and we have chosen not to.
